Cheap followers: how to spot a trustworthy site

Cheap followers: an honest checklist to spot a trustworthy site before you pay. Password, delivery, refund policy, price.

You searched for cheap followers and a straight answer because you want two things at once: not to overpay, and not to get scammed. Both are possible, but not by luck — you can check it before you pay.

Short answer, if you're in a hurry: a trustworthy site is legally identifiable, never asks for your password, delivers gradually, prices in line with the market, and commits to a refund if nothing shows up. A site that misses even one of those five points does not deserve your money, not even at 2 €.

Seven signals that separate a solid site from one to avoid

A social growth provider is not judged on its design or its order counter. It is judged on seven things you can check yourself, in five minutes, without buying anything.

  • The password. A site that asks for your login details to "start the service" is really asking for the keys to your account. No follower delivery needs your password: the public link to your profile is enough. This is the single most decisive item on the list.
  • The delivery mode. Gradual or in one block? Receiving 5,000 followers in ten minutes on an account that had 200 is the loudest signal a platform can pick up. Delivery spread over several hours or days is quieter and more coherent.
  • The company identity. Name, address, registration number, contact details. Without them, there is nobody on the other side when something goes wrong.
  • The refund commitment. A seller who writes "delivered or refunded" in plain sight accepts losing money when it fails. A seller who writes nothing leaves the whole risk with you.
  • The price. Too high and you pay the margin. Too low and you pay for something that will not last. The serious end of the market sits roughly between 10 and 25 € for 1,000 followers.
  • The promises. Going viral on command, complete safety, flawless profiles — none of that can be checked. A seller who says it is mostly telling you he is not afraid of lying to you.
  • Customer support. A contact form that answers before the purchase will probably answer after it. Test it before you order: it costs nothing and it tells you a lot.

None of these seven checks requires technical skill. They only require resisting the urge to move fast because the price looks low.

What this checklist will not do for you

This is where most sellers lie to you, so let's be precise. No checklist makes buying followers consequence-free, and nobody can promise you otherwise.

A site that passes all seven points will not shield you from the periodic clean-ups platforms run. Instagram, TikTok and YouTube regularly remove inactive or automated accounts, and part of what you bought can leave with them.

This checklist also says nothing about the quality of your content. Followers sitting on an empty account are still followers sitting on an empty account. A boost speeds up momentum, it does not create it.

Finally, it does not override platform rules. TikTok's Community Guidelines, under Integrity and Authenticity, explicitly forbid artificial engagement. Anyone telling you there is no danger at all in this is telling you a story. The full picture is in our article on the risks of buying Instagram followers.

Why "too cheap" ends up costing more

A thousand followers for 2 € is not magic: it is simply a different product. At that price, nobody can fund anything other than mass-produced accounts with no photo, no history and no activity.

The first hidden cost is the drop. Those accounts vanish in waves, often within weeks. You either pay again, or watch your counter slide back down.

The second cost is your engagement rate. If 5,000 inert profiles land on top of your 500 genuine followers, the ratio between your views and your follower count collapses. An account with 6,000 followers getting 80 likes sends a worse signal than an account with 500 followers getting the same 80.

The third cost is having no recourse. With no identifiable company, no written refund policy and no support, you have nothing to fall back on. The low price was not a discount, it was the transfer of the entire risk onto you.

If your budget is genuinely zero, the honest answer is not to buy at rock bottom: it is to work on the free ways to gain Instagram followers, which cost time instead of money.

What French law requires from any online seller

This is the easiest criterion to check and the one people skip most often. In France, a site selling a service must tell you who it is, and that is not a courtesy: it is a legal duty.

According to the official guidance published by service-public.gouv.fr on mandatory information for a professional website, the seller must display its identity and address, its trade and companies register number, its VAT number, its contact details, and the name and address of its hosting provider.

The same page notes that failing to display this information is punished by one year of imprisonment and a fine of 75,000 €. In other words, a site that skips it did not forget a page: it made a choice.

The practical test takes a minute. Look for the legal notices page, note the registration number, check that it matches an existing company. If you find no name, no country and no number, you already know you will have no recourse.

Cheap follower reviews: what the comments are actually worth

Reviews are useful, but they are also the easiest thing to fake in this whole industry. An average rating of 4.9 across 2,000 reviews proves nothing on its own.

The DGCCRF, France's consumer protection authority, states in its practical guide on online reviews that a professional giving access to reviews must specify whether and how it guarantees that those reviews come from consumers who actually bought or used the product. A site that never explains how it checks its reviews is asking you to take its word for it.

The same guide is blunt about the penalty: publishing fake reviews falls under the offence of misleading commercial practices, punishable by two years of imprisonment and a fine of 300,000 €, which can be raised to 10% of average annual turnover.

The DGCCRF also offers three simple reading reflexes: are the reviews excessive, does the review discuss the product or only the brand, does the phrasing sound natural? Thirty enthusiastic testimonials posted in the same week, all three lines long, without a single concrete detail, are not thirty customers.

How a clean service actually works

A serious order always follows the same pattern, and that pattern is easy to describe. You pick a quantity, you give the public link to your profile, you pay, delivery starts.

No step asks for your password, and none asks for access to your inbox. At AMPLIFYS, delivery usually starts within 30 minutes, and it is gradual rather than instant. The full description is on the page explaining our delivery method.

Targeting is the second technical point to look at. A worldwide mix costs less; country targeting costs more because it draws on a narrower pool. For a local business or a regional artist, French Instagram followers make more sense than raw worldwide volume.

The third point is what happens when things go wrong. Reachable support, a written refund policy and clear answers to common questions beat an automated chat window. The most frequent answers are gathered in the AMPLIFYS FAQ.

What it costs when the price makes sense

A coherent price is neither the lowest nor the highest: it is the one that matches what is actually delivered. Here are orders of magnitude taken from the AMPLIFYS catalogue on 5 August 2026.

For 1,000 Instagram followers in worldwide mix, expect around 18.90 €, and around 24.57 € with country targeting. For 1,000 TikTok followers, the order of magnitude is 19.50 € in worldwide mix. For 1,000 Instagram likes, around 13.90 €.

These rates go down with volume, as they do everywhere. What matters is the gap: a site showing 2 € for the same quantity is not running a 90% smaller margin, it is selling something else. The detailed comparison is in our article on what 1,000 Instagram followers really cost.

If you compare several providers, keep the same basket on both sides: same quantity, same platform, same targeting type. Comparing 1,000 France-targeted followers with 1,000 worldwide-mix followers means nothing, and that is exactly the confusion some comparison pages live on.

The checklist applied to AMPLIFYS, limits included

An article that hands out seven criteria and then ticks all seven for itself convinces nobody. So here is the honest result, weak spots included.

On the objective criteria, AMPLIFYS ticks: no password required, gradual delivery, delivery usually starting within 30 minutes, country targeting available on the main services, a delivered-or-refunded commitment, an identifiable company and support you can reach before ordering. The platform-by-platform detail is on the page about choosing an Instagram followers site.

First limit: the price is not the lowest on the market. It cannot be, and the section above explains why. If your only criterion is the floor price, AMPLIFYS is not your best option.

Second limit: there is no customer review page on the site. That is a deliberate choice, because we will not publish testimonials we cannot prove — but it does mean you will not find here the social proof others display.

Third limit: country targeting is not available on every service. On some platforms, only the worldwide mix is offered, and that is stated on the Instagram followers page as on the other product pages.

Fourth limit: nobody here can promise you that not a single delivered follower will disappear. The free refill exists precisely because that risk exists. A seller who claims otherwise is not more reliable, just less careful.

The questions everyone asks

Are reviews of cheap follower sites reliable?

Partly. A single review proves nothing, but a spread of detailed, dated reviews posted over time is a solid clue. The DGCCRF recommends checking whether the site explains how it verifies its reviews, and being wary of comments that are excessive, very short, or focused on the brand rather than on the service received.

Is it dangerous to buy Instagram followers?

There is a risk, and it varies with what you buy and how it is delivered. Platforms forbid artificial engagement and run regular clean-ups. Gradual delivery, with no password, on an already active account, reduces your exposure without removing it. The topic is covered in depth in our guide on the risks.

Why does a site ask for my password?

Because it wants to do something other than deliver followers: post, follow accounts, send messages, or resell the access. No follower delivery requires your login details. If you are asked for them, close the tab, and change your password if you already handed them over.

What should you do if the delivery never arrives?

Start with the site's support, with your order number and the date. If the seller is identifiable and publishes a refund policy, you have a contractual claim. If there is no company name and no address, your only lever is your bank, and it does not always work. That is exactly why "identifiable company" comes before price on the list.

Is instant delivery a good sign?

No, rather the opposite. A massive arrival within minutes is the easiest pattern for a platform to detect, and it usually corresponds to very low-quality batches. Spread-out delivery costs a little more to produce, which is precisely why it is rare among the cheapest sellers.

How do you compare two sites without getting it wrong?

Take the same basket on both sides: same quantity, same platform, same targeting. Then add three columns: password requested or not, gradual or block delivery, refund policy written or not. Price comes last. That is the logic behind the comparisons published on the MyBoost alternative page and the Zefame alternative page.

Does buying followers improve my views?

Not directly. Follower count and view count are two separate mechanics: on Instagram as on TikTok, distribution depends mostly on how viewers behave on the video itself. If visibility is your goal, look instead at how to get more views on your Instagram Reels.

In short: look for cheap followers if you want, but choose the site first and the price second. Password never requested, gradual delivery, identifiable company, written refund policy, promises that can actually be kept — five checks, five minutes. Once those five line up, you can compare rates calmly, starting with the page on choosing an Instagram followers site.
